Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-09-24

1. Who you contract with

These terms are a contract between [legal name] ("we") and the organisation that creates a Onerift account ("you"). The person who accepts them confirms they may bind that organisation.

2. The service

Onerift is an AI agent that connects to the apps your members connect, reads their data, and, after a member confirms, changes data in them. We may change the service; we tell you ahead of any change that removes a feature you use.

3. Your accounts and your apps

Each member connects their own apps and the agent acts with that member's permissions. You are responsible for who you invite, for the permissions your members hold in their apps, and for the actions a member confirms.

4. Acceptable use

You do not use Onerift to break the law, to reach data you have no right to reach, to attack or overload a system, or to make decisions about people's employment, credit, education or access to essential services.

5. AI answers

Answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong or incomplete. Check an answer before you rely on it. The agent asks before it changes data; you are responsible for what a member confirms.

6. Model providers and cost

On the trial, we pay for model use up to the trial limit. When you add your own model provider key, the provider bills you directly, under your contract with it, and we are not a party to it.

7. Fees

[the fees, the billing period and the payment terms]

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit or loss of data that a member's confirmed action caused. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in those 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that French law does not allow us to limit.

9. Ending the contract

You can close your organisation at any time; we delete its data as the privacy policy states. We can suspend or close an account that breaks section 4, and we tell you why.

10. Data processing terms

When the agent reads or changes data in your apps, you are the controller and we are your processor. Under GDPR Art. 28(3) we:

  1. process that data only on your documented instructions, which are the requests your members make in Onerift;
  2. make sure every person who can access it is bound to confidentiality;
  3. keep it secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures (Art. 32), including encrypted storage of app credentials;
  4. use only the sub-processors listed on our privacy page, bound by the same obligations, and email your managers 30 days before a change, so you can object;
  5. help you answer requests from people who exercise their rights;
  6. help you meet your security, breach notification and impact assessment duties (Art. 32–36), and notify you of a personal data breach without undue delay;
  7. delete your data when the contract ends, as the privacy policy states, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  8. give you the information you need to show compliance, and allow and contribute to audits.

11. Law and courts

French law governs these terms. The courts of [head office city] have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory rule says otherwise.
